PUSH Buffalo to Throw a 'MAD' Party on Massachusetts Avenue

People United for Sustainable Housing (PUSH Buffalo), a local membership-based community organization, will hold a ribbon-cutting on Thursday, Sept. 6 at 10 a.m. at 460 Massachusetts Ave. to celebrate the completion of two of the Massachusetts Avenue Development (MAD) buildings, Victorian-era homes that have been turned into seven energy efficient apartments along the Massachusetts Avenue corridor. The National Fuel Accountability Coalition to Turn Up the Heat on National Fuel this July

The National Fuel Accountability Coalition, founded by VOICE-­‐Buffalo and People United for Sustainable Housing – PUSH Buffalo – in 2011 that is comprised of eighteen organizations working to partner with National Fuel around the issue of high gas bills and low-income weatherization programs, will conduct a series of community pickets throughout the month of July directly outside of National Fuel headquarters in Williamsville. PUSH Buffalo to Jump Start the Launch of Their New Community Development Plan

People United for Sustainable Housing (PUSH Buffalo), a local membership-based community organization fighting to create living-wage jobs and affordable housing, will launch a campaign to implement their Community Development Plan on Wednesday, April 18 at 6pm at the Butler-Mitchell Boys & Girls Club (370 Massachusetts Ave.). Wednesday’s campaign kickoff will gather community members together to discuss the needs and wants of their neighborhood and strategize about how to make their needs a reality.
