Buffalo NY – PUSH Green (PG), PUSH Buffalo’s energy efficiency arm has now retrofitted more than 100 homes in Erie County. These are residential dwellings that have received weatherization and energy efficiency upgrades as a result of the existence of PG programs. PG is also partnering with new contractors to create more opportunities for energy efficiency and job creation in the Buffalo area.
Almost 3 years ago PUSH Green started with the mission of bringing the energy efficiency revolution to Buffalo and Western New York. Buffalo has some of the coldest winters on record in the United States. PG was created to give a wider range of Western New York residents the experience of lower gas and electric bills which leads to improved living comfort. “Rebuilding a city not only takes downtown development, it takes neighborhood development too” says Clarke Gocker of PUSH Green.
The PUSH Green team together with program contractors and neighborhood residents will gather this Thursday September 26th 12 noon at 237 Main St in downtown Buffalo to announce this great news.
