REV Comments in Buffalo Part 2

REV Comments in Buffalo Part 2

Wed, November 4, 20156:00 PM

Let's come together to make REV (Reforming the Energy Vision Proceedings) R.E.A.L. We want to make the process #Renewable - no money for coal and natural gas or other fossil fuel burning, and environment destroying energies. We want to make the process #Equitable - all New Yorkers regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or religion should have a say in what's going on with their energy. We want to make the process #Accountable - we're going to hold the decision makers accountable for what happens with our energy future. We want to make the process #Local - the idea/concept for local control of energy production and distribution will not be thrown out of the discussion.

The New York State Department of Public Service (also known as the Public Service Commission) and big energy companies are trying rewrite our energy future (this includes the future of renewable and clean energy) in New York without our input. We need to come out in big numbers in Buffalo this Wednesday November 4th so that we have a say in our energy future.

This Public Service Commission is the New York state utility company regulator. Join us for a community/region wide public comment period as members of this state agency will be in Buffalo NY to talk to you - the public.

There's an info session at 6PM & a general public comment period that begins at 7PM.

It happens at the Erie Community College City Campus Auditorium located at 121 Ellicott St, Buffalo NY
